Lead Pastor
Al Giles

Pastor Al Giles is the Lead Pastor of St. Matthew's Evangelical Congregational (EC) Church. He is a graduate of Messiah College ('82) and the Evangelical Theological Seminary ("86). From 1993 until 2011, Pastor Giles served as Discipleship Pastor at Trinity EC Boyertown. He is married to Cheryle Lynne (Heisler) Giles. They have two sons: Justin, who graduated from Kutztown in 2011, and Jared, who is currently attending PSU.
Pastor Al "totally enjoys watching God make a difference in the lives of others as they learn to spend time in His Word, spend time with His people and pursue the adventure of sharing God's love and life with others."
Youth Pastor
James Ritter
Pastor James Ritter is the Youth Leader at St. Matthews E.C. church. He grew up attending St. Matthew’s.
He graduated from Liberty University in 2011. During that time he worked with youth from elementary school, all the way through the graduate level in college.
